I was Accepted into Journey by Mediavine
And what this means for the future of my blog.
I’m sitting down to write this article early on Thanksgiving morning. I’ve been tossing and turning for the past couple of hours. Part of this could be the weather. It’s finally gotten chillier here and the congestion in my head always gets worse as the weather changes.
But I also have a lot on my mind. I received some pretty exciting news two days ago and I’m suddenly feeling excited for the future in ways that I haven’t felt in a very long time.
Let’s start at the beginning.
What was the Good News I Received?
My exciting news is that my blog was accepted into Journey by Mediavine.
Mediavine is a full-service add agency for bloggers. Their threshold for applying to their program is that your site must have 50,000 session per month to be considered.
Ever since I started working seriously on my blog last November, I’ve set my sites on joining Mediavine someday. But this past Spring I believe, they announced that they were starting a new program called Journey by Mediavine.
To apply for this growing ad network, you needed to have 10,000 sessions per month. You also needed to have the Grow plugin installed on your site for 30 days…
